Villa Custodio

You’ll absolutely fall in love with Villa Custodio, the beautifully furnished, spacious, two-story, modern Hacienda-style villa occupying the primo spot overlooking the beach and surf break below. All rooms have unobstructed views of the surf, the adjacent environmentally protected estuary, some 12 miles of unspoiled beach, and the majestic Sierra Madre Occidental mountain range beyond. The pristine, palm lined sandy beach which stretches for miles in front of the villa is undeveloped, and wonderful for surfing, swimming and playing in the water, or long walks along the shore.

Villa Custodio is a 4-bedroom, 4.5 bath luxuriously appointed residence surrounded by graceful red brick terraces and private gardens.  It has its own heated, night-lighted spacious infinity pool.  The two master bedroom suites, one upstairs and one down, are each furnished with a king size bed and each has its own private terrace.   Each of the two generously sized downstairs guest suites has two extra-long twin beds and looks across the beautifully maintained gardens and pool to the beach below.  The gardens have been carefully planted to attract butterflies and hummingbirds.

The well-equipped modern kitchen opens onto the spacious, high-ceilinged great room which looks across the outdoor brick and cantera stone terrace to the surf immediately below.  The adjacent family room features a DVD player with wide screen monitor and a collection of more than 300 DVDs, a stereo system, and the Internet modem.  The tower lookout room above provides a spectacular view of the entire coastline south to Punta de Mita.

Villa Custodio is filled with a collection of Mexican folk art assembled over a period of many years, accompanied by an extensive library of Mexican folk art, painting, and architecture, Mexican history, and local flora & fauna.
